Step 3 — Choose a Train and Class
The app will show you a list of all the trains running on that day. It will also show the timings and types of seats, like Economy or AC. Pick the train that is best for you.
Step 4 — Add Passenger Names
Type the names and ages of all the people who are traveling with you. Make sure the spellings are correct.
Step 5 — Pay for the Ticket
Choose how you want to pay, like JazzCash or EasyPaisa. Type your details and complete the payment. Do not close the app while the payment is loading.
Step 6 — Save Your Ticket
After you pay, go to the Order Inquiry section in the app. You will see your digital ticket there. Save it on your phone. You can show this digital ticket to the ticket checker on the train.
Ticket Prices and Special Discounts
Ticket prices are different for different trains and classes. Pakistan Railways also gives some good discounts:
- For Children: Kids between 3 and 10 years old only pay half the price for a ticket.
- For Old People: Citizens who are 65 years old or older also get a 50% discount.
How to Cancel a Ticket and Get a Refund
If your plans change and you cannot travel, you can cancel your ticket inside the RABTA app. The app will give your money back, but they will deduct a small amount depending on your time:
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before the train leaves: They take 10% of your money.
- If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before: They take 20% of your money.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before: They take 30% of your money.

Sometimes the app gets slow, and money is cut from your bank but you do not get the ticket immediately.
- Do not pay again straight away.
- Wait for a few minutes and check the Order Inquiry page again.
